    About Ultimate Passage

    Ultimate Passage is owned and run by a small group of yachters and pilots who are dedicated to serving you, the customer.  We were founded in 1995 as a technical services company, one of our core business concerns that continues today; but when we weren't working, we were either boating or flying.  Summers are short on the Great Lakes and each winter we found ourselves comparing notes.  From our shared experiences we developed the first Ultimate Passage catalog.  Every year since then we have strived to provide the "Latest and Greatest" from the Top Name Manufacturers in the boating industry.

    Where Are We?

    We are in Ohio, and a 15-minute ride to downtown Cleveland; right off of Lake Erie.  Our office is a 10-minute bike ride (pedal, not motor!) from Lake Erie and the Ultimate Passage is docked at [private] Gem Beach.

    Our Philosophy

    Our many direct relationships with equipment suppliers allows for much better pricing and service to our customers. We strive for excellence in every aspect of creating a perfect buying experience.  We are large enough to bring deep discounts yet personal enough to attend to your every need.  Simply put, our strategy is based on old fashioned integrity, discounted prices and a commitment to customer service.  It makes sense, and it works.  Whether you are a pilot, a yachter or sailor, we think you'll find our catalog both fun and useful.

    We respect your right to privacy.  We will not sell, lease, publish or provide any information to any third party.

    We use your e-mail address only as necessary to complete a sale and to keep you informed as to the status of your order.  In the event of a product recall, we will use your e-mail address and/or phone number to attempt to contact you.

    We also believe that just because you elect to do business with us, does not grant us the right to use your e-mail address to solicit additional business.

    Log In Process

    It is Not necessary to create an account to order from us.  The Login/New account procedure simply allows you to set-up an account profile.  We will store your name and shipping address.  We provide this as a convenience to our customers that place repeat orders. We never store your credit card information.  For more information on how we process credit cards, please see below.

    Credit Card Numbers

    We do not store any credit card numbers on our servers.  We use 128 bit encryption to collect your card number securely.  After we process your order (about 30 seconds) we discard your credit card number.  As a consequence even customers with an account with us will have to enter their card number for every transaction.  This is for your protection as well as ours.

    If you receive a defective item or an item damaged during shipment, Immediately contact us at 440-617-0025 or EMAIL [email protected].  We will make arrangements to get the item replaced as soon a possible.  After 15 days, the manufacturer's warranty is in effect.  The terms of the warranty varies by product and manufacturer.
